Whether you’re an experienced horseperson or simply eager to get involved, we have a volunteer role for you — no prior experience necessary! We provide all the training you’ll need. Complete and send in a volunteer application through email or request our office address to send us a physical copy. Then, you will receive a background check via email.

Volunteer Roles

  • Horse Leader

    Help guide our horses during lessons by leading them with a lead line. Leaders are responsible for managing the horse’s movement and behavior under the direction of the instructor.

  • Side-walker

    Walk alongside the rider to offer physical and/or verbal support, encouragement, and ensure safety throughout the lesson. Side walkers play a crucial role in building the rider’s confidence and stability.

  • Barn Assistant

    Assist with the behind-the-scenes care that keeps our program running smoothly. Tasks may include grooming, tacking, cleaning, and preparing horses for lessons.
