How can I get started?

It all begins with an evaluation. Potential clients will come to the farm (by appointment) to get familiar with the environment and the services we offer. The instructor will assess the unique ways each client processes information and learns, so we may best support their learning style. Clients and their families are encouraged to share goals, questions, and concerns with staff. Evaluations are conducted on a case-by-case basis, and do not always involve riding.

The instructor will carefully select a helmet and equipment that safely and comfortably fits the rider and horse. Many potential clients have concerns about their apprehension around horses. At Unbridled Learning, we work through this with you. Not all lessons have to include riding, and we can go at your pace.

Who does Unbridled Learning serve?

We serve children and adults of all abilities. We accept a diverse range of clients - specializing in teaching individuals with disabilities - and educate our staff in understanding their needs. The minimum age requirement is 3 years old.
